Researcher from Faculty of Entrepreneurship Wins Silver Medal at Silicon Valley International Innovation Fair (SVIIF)
At this premier global event, Mr. Asghaei’s invention, titled “Advanced Wave Energy Conversion System for High and Low Ocean Waves,” competed alongside hundreds of innovative technologies and cutting-edge projects presented by inventors and research institutions worldwide. Following a rigorous evaluation, the international jury awarded his design the Silver Medal.
This accolade builds upon a series of significant international achievements for Mohammadreza Asghaei. Prior to this, he had already gained global acclaim by winning the Gold Medal at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions.
Developed in the field of clean and renewable energy, this patented system is designed to effectively harness the kinetic potential of oceanic waves—both long and short wavelengths—to generate clean electrical energy, offering a scalable contribution to sustainable energy solutions.
In addition to his technological breakthroughs in renewable energy, Mohammadreza Asghaei has also contributed to commercial and managerial innovation. Among his registered patents is the “Circular Display Shelf Based on Tiered Markdown Pricing,” reflecting an interdisciplinary approach that bridges engineering innovation with real-world business and retail solutions.
Winning the Silver Medal at the Silicon Valley International Innovation Fair marks another proud milestone for the researcher and underscores the College of Management’s growing footprint in global research, innovation, and technological entrepreneurship.
