Interviews Conducted for Ph.D. Entrance Candidates at the College of Management

The scientific and specialized interviews for candidates who successfully passed the first stage of the 2026 Ph.D. entrance examination in the fields of Industrial Management, Public Administration, Business Management, Accounting and Finance, Tourism Management, and Commerce Management were held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the College of Management, University of Tehran.The interviews were conducted to evaluate the applicants’ academic qualifications, analytical capabilities, and research motivations. Candidates who advanced to the interview stage based on their written examination scores attended the College of Management in both morning and afternoon sessions.The interview process was carried out through dedicated specialized committees for each academic discipline, with the participation of prominent faculty members from different schools and departments. During the interviews, candidates presented their educational, research, and professional experiences and answered specialized questions related to their chosen fields, research methods, familiarity with current scientific literature, as well as their academic writing and teaching competencies.Part of the interview process was also devoted to evaluating applicants’ proficiency in specialized English, critical thinking and analytical abilities, and the extent to which their academic and professional objectives align with the educational and research priorities of the respective departments.On the sidelines of the event, Dr. Taher Roshandel Arbatani, Dean of the College of Management, referred to the significant interest in the Ph.D. programs across various disciplines and stated:“The academic quality of this year’s applicants has improved considerably, and beyond the selection process, the interviews provide an opportunity to identify outstanding talents for collaboration in the college’s research projects.”He further noted that the final admission results, based on the combination of written examination scores and interview evaluations, will be announced later through the National Organization for Educational Testing.
