The College of Management at the University of Tehran hosted a commemorative ceremony marking 70 years of management education in Iran, coinciding with the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Business. The event took place on May 6, 2025, in conjunction with Teachers’ Week Iran, honoring the contributions of educators and scholars who have shaped the field of management over the past seven decades.
The ceremony brought together a distinguished audience, including Iran’s First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref, leading scholars, pioneers in management science in Iran, and top-performing students in the field.
In his opening remarks, Dean of the College of Management, Dr. Taher Roshandel Arbatani, welcomed the attendees and formally presented the declaration of the First National Congress of Management Faculties.
In his address, Vice President Aref emphasized the critical role of management science in addressing national challenges and urged its broader application in solving the country’s most pressing issues.
The event also honored leading figures in the field of management. Commendation plaques and symbolic awards from the College of Management were presented by Dr. Aref and Dr. Roshandel Arbatani to the following distinguished scholars:

The ceremony also featured the unveiling of a commemorative stamp celebrating the 70th anniversary of management education in Iran, carried out with the participation of a representative from the Ministry of Communications. Adding a cultural highlight to the event, renowned Iranian vocalist Hojat Ashrafzadeh performed, providing a festive and uplifting atmosphere to the celebration.
