The Faculty of Management under the name of Institute of Administrative Sciences was established in 1334 by the contract between the University of Tehran and the University of Southern California in order to train managers in the management of public and private organizations in the Law School of the University of Tehran. It started with American professors. Since September 1336, its management has been entrusted to Iranian experts and professors, and the institute has been renamed the Institute of Business and Administrative Sciences. In 1343, with the approval of the University Council and the approval of the Central Council of Universities, the Scientific Center continued its educational and research activities by renaming it "Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Business Management" . In January 1999, the name of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Business Management was changed to "Faculty of Management" of Tehran University in accordance with the decision of the University of Tehran Council and then in July of 2000.

"Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Business Management" University of Tehran "Since 1343 has been teaching undergraduate students in the fields of Administrative Sciences and Business Management as well as Master's Degrees in the fields of Public Administration and Business Administration and Accounting. 1347 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, 1354 Doctor of Management, 1362 Bachelor of Industrial Management and 1366 Bachelor's degree in Insurance Management. Also in the year 1367 the post-revolutionary management postdoctoral program was reopened.
Considering the supreme leadership's emphasis on the expansion of the scientific movement in the country and on the development of educational and cultural space, the Faculty of Management, considering the wide range of management disciplines and its capabilities in relation to society and its mission in the fields of education and research, and A culture to further the goals of the university's mission, due to the lack of facilities and equipment and the lack of adequate space that impedes the achievement of the goals and the necessity to undertake the construction of the Imam Reza (AS) building, all of which are funded by the Foundation. Mesolithic culture is a commitment and has no financial burden for college and university.
Also, considering the importance of sport and health of students, faculty and staff, following the Board of Directors and with the assistance of the Municipality of District 6 Tehran Multipurpose Sports Hall of Martyrs School of Management has been built in the southwest side of the College.
It currently has 90 full-time faculty members who work in the following 10 departments.
